Helen Tweed, Marketing Manager at easipetcare Ltd, has been awarded the coveted Veterinary Marketing Association Young Marketer of the Year Award.
Announced at the VMA’s prestigious Annual awards event held in London on Friday 17th March 2017, a delighted Ms Tweed [pictured] said “I am absolutely thrilled to have won the award. The process was fun, but hard work, but I am so pleased I entered!”
Sponsored by British Dairying magazine and supported by the VMA, the award is intended to recognise the young marketer who has demonstrated marketing flair within the animal health industry. In addition to receiving a certificate of achievement and being invited to join the VMA committee, Ms Tweed also wins a CPD bursary worth £2,000 to put towards marketing training, plus a personal award of £500.
The Young Marketer judges, Dr Mo Gannon and Mr Stephen Dann said: “Helen demonstrated great energy, passion and a track record of achievements in her role as Marketing Manager. In addition to providing clear evidence that she has implemented new and different thinking in her company, Helen also showed she keeps up-to-date with developments within the wider marketing community. The award of VMA Young Marketer of the Year 2016 is richly deserved.”
VMA would also like to extend its congratulations to all the finalists for their excellent submissions and judging day case study reviews. Each finalist receives a certificate and a personal award of £100:
