The Veterinary Marketing Association (VMA) is delighted to announce the appointment of Alice Laurens, DVM MRCVS MCIM as its new Secretary. The new role is in addition to Alice’s current position as VMA Marketing, Communications and Development Manager, creating a central role in shaping the future direction and growth of the association.
A former winner of the VMA Young Marketer of The Year Award, Alice believes that the new role will provide a great opportunity to make a real difference to the association going forward. “The VMA is in the process of making some significant developments to its member offering and I am really excited to be involved in shaping its future!” Says Alice
In addition to being responsible for developing and implementing the VMA’s marketing and communication strategy, Alice will also provide a central hub for the association, says VMA chair, Jane Manning. “The VMA is dedicated to providing resources enabling its members to achieve marketing excellence within animal health. Alice will work alongside our treasurer, Matthew Morton, the management team and committee members to drive the organisation to further develop its position and member benefits,” she adds.
Alice is a qualified companion animal vet, a marketer and a journalist with over nine years experience within animal health marketing.
